Good Value – why by new?

When I can I buy reconditioned items. Why spend the money for new. This Ryobi works just as I expected. Fully instructions, easy to put together. Easy to start, just follow the starting instructions, works well. The only thing was the unit was a little dirty. I thought someone might have wiped it off before shipping. Oh well, it is an lawn blower. It was plenty dirty after my first use.

Great Little Blower

This blower does everything it is suppose to do. Very user friendly. Starts on three easy pulls of the cord every time. Very quiet compared to the Sears Craftsman handheld that I had for 15 years. Has great power. Would recommend this blower to anyone. Great price!

My old Craftsman leaf blower finally bit the dust for the last time. It was so-so as I had to take it in twice in 4 years to keep it running. I was going to buy a Poulan Pro from Wal-mart for $102 plus tax. I read reviews online and saw that well over 20 of 31 reviews complained about the recoil not retracting when pulling the starter cord.Forget that. One reviewer said that Poulan Pro denied they had a problem! So I looked at other blowers on line and read about an $81 Ryobi refurbished blower. The reviews looked good, so I ordered one. Mine was brand new (from Amazon)and man is this thing GREAT! The quality is at least comparable to my Craftsman and the operation is easy and simple. No tax and free shipping make the Ryobi a “No-Brainer”!

Don't do it

Ran for about 15 minutes out of the box. Then only a few minutes and it would quit.

Local authorized rpair shop charged $45 to fix it...cited carb issues from no name chinese carb.

Ryobi got me a credit for the repair.

Less than 6 months later same problem is back.

Buy a Schundiawa or Stihl..this is junk.

Back Pack Blower

So far so good. For a supposed reconditioned item (it looks brand new) I’m completely satisfied. Took a little bit to figure out how the straps are oriented (still don’t think I have it right) but its a heck of a lot easier to walk around my property with the think on my shoulders/back as opposed to flipping from one arm to the other

Very Light weight but performs A-OK.

This unit has enough power to get the work done (I use 50% throttle most of the time). If it seems underpowered-check the choke setting; it should be "Off" once the engine is warmed-up. The fuel tank is enough for 30-50 min depending on throttle position. The only negative comment is noise-I expected this unit to be quieter than competition (per MFG suggested 68 db noise); however, it's just as loud as any other blower on the market.

Great leaf blower for the price

Great product, it takes a minute to get up to full speed, but it is very powerful. I could not tell it was a refurb. The item was well packed and the casing looked new. This is my 3rd Ryobi product(also have tiller and trimmer) and they all are very durable.
