HHO: A Solution For Environmental Damage By Car

June 4th, 2010

Cars are doing enormous damage to the environment. Simply imagine of how many cars you pass in your everyday life. There are dozens of articles about strategies to decline the damage they are doing. Carpooling, riding a bike, taking public transportation, or purchasing a hybrid are some of those strategies. But these options aren’t available to everyone. If you don’t live near a co-worker, it’s difficult to carpool. And it’s impossible to bike or ride, If you don’t live near work.

Many American cities don’t have enough public transportation. It’s the problem for not only affording car by many Americans but also they are daunted by the long waiting-lists at dealerships to purchase them. That doesn’t mean that you can’t reduce the damage your car might be doing to the planet, if one or any of these are applied. For every car owner, there’s an easy environmental solution, in fact. The HHO kit is the solution. With an HHO kit, car owners can drastically reduce their environmental impact.

An HHO kit is a conversion kit that can install into any gasoline-powered car. The HHO kit is powered by water. It converts the water into hydrogen and pushes the hydrogen into your engine. The car is allowed to use less gas by the infusion of hydrogen in the gasoline. HHO kits have been shown to reduce gasoline use by 10 to 50%. Reduction in gasoline use means a reduction in the planet-damaging effects of gasoline. But this reduction isn’t only in the effects that your gasoline-powered car has on the environment, but also the damaging effects of the production of gas.

Fossil fuels are being used at an alarmingly fast rate by industrialized nations which are basically finite resources. This could cause a significant positive change to the planet, if more members of these nations began using HHO kits.

Only a simple, quick installation process is required for HHO kits which are easily available on the internet. In fact, it doesn’t require any mechanical experience to install an HHO kit in your car; just the kit itself and a free afternoon. Everyone could spare a few hours to make a huge change in the environmental impact.

Littel Discussion About HHO

June 1st, 2010

As for, $4 per gallon of gasoline, i have recently become interested in the subject of the strength of an HHO Gas Generator For those not regular with the term, an HHO Gas generator is a device which allegedly converts the hydrogen from water into fuel that can be burned by a vehicle–thus saving greatly on gasoline costs.

So I looked for hours on-line to find out if an HHO Gas Generator would work. As you can credibly guess, at this point, I have not yet tested building my own HHO Gas Generator. Here’s how my on-line search went.

I went to my first site on the subject, which called it “How to construct an HHO Gas Generator.” The main thrust of the site can be summed up in one sentence: “Find a guide online using Google.” I’m not kidding; this guy did a whole article that essentially recommended you look on-line for a guide. Nothing helps there.

My bay for a working HHO Gas Generator continued. Later i found several site much better. Simply people insisting that they work and please send “X” amount of their funds to find out how to do it.

I did finally find many videos on You Tube that showed how to build an HHO Gas Generator, and most made the technology appear more plausible. The projects still look like something I can plausibly do myself with little hassle or money.

As I continued my look to determine if there is more truth or hype to the subject of the HHO gas generator, I found several sites of nothing but testimonials. First, apparently Mike Allen at the democratic Mechanics website says his experiments show no noticeable difference in a car with an HHO Gas Generator and one without one. However, he acknowledged that he has a friend who is as technically-adept as himself who said he is “actually receiving some consistent results-fuel-economy improvements to the tune of 10 to 12 percent on diesel trucks pulling trailers.”

Strangely, Allen dismissed this as merely a placebo effect–in effect accusing him of imagining the results. I’m not so sure–especially given the huge number of seemingly-honest people online, with no product to sell, who insist they’ve seen positive results. At this point, I’m on the verge of trying it myself. I have small to lose–but a much more fuel-efficient car (not to mention environmentally friendly car) to gain if my HHO Gas Generator does certainly work.

Bio Fuels – Stay On Top Of The Upcoming Trends

May 29th, 2010

The likely of biomass as an energy seed is great: professionals have measured that the earth produces eight times more biomass each year than its energy needs overall (though it currently puts only 7 percent of that usable resource to use in energy production). It’s not only a renewable resource, it’s also a apparently inevitable one; to paraphrase a common aphorism, biomass happens.

Any fuel created from biomass can be called bio fuel, though the tag gets the most media attention when used to denote biomass-based fuels that power internal combustion engines peculiarly cars. These contain bio diesel, bio butanol, biogas and bio ethanol. The fuels can be created from plant materials specifically grown for the function or from the recycling or re-use of former biomass resources.

There are practically hundreds of individual vendor-energy resources alone, from abies balsamea (balsam fir) to Zizania aquatica (wild rice) around the world. In countries with no proved militia of fossil fuels, investments and study in vendor-energy resources have helped otherwise energy-poor nations such as Sri Lanka develop alternatives to costly and politically dependent imports, giving a whole new meaning to the phrase “power plant.”

Energy crops add fewer emissions to the air and water supply than do petroleum products in general and coal in particular. Energy crops hold nearly no sulfur and far fewer nitrogen than fossil fuels, so their combustion does not contribute to acid rain and smog (sulfur dioxide, or SO2) and smog (nitrogen oxides, or NOx). And unlike fossil fuels, they do not have important quantities of mercury to leach into the H2O supply. In ordinary, energy crops do not loose nearly the quantity of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) as anthropogenic sources (that is, human-made concoctions such as natural gas, gasoline, solvents, pesticides, and paints).

There are biogenic sources of VOCs, yet, and these do represent important contributors. Pine and citrus trees, for example, release large quantities of isoprene (a chemical compound found naturally in plants and animals, including humans, isoprene is nevertheless a pollutant, especially as it contributes to the production of ozone) and terpenes (a family of hydrocarbons that are the major components of resin and, not surprisingly, turpentine), although these trees are used as biomass.

Another way in which biomass gets put to use as an energy source is through recycling biodegradable materials or water products. Manufacture and agribusiness are chief sources of biodegradable by-products, but every household generates potentially useful biomass. On a large scale, manufacturers and other industrial and commercial services generate biodegradable materials they no longer need.

Safe The World | Use Alternative Energy

May 26th, 2010

We have seen the change in kinds of energy consumption as early as the 1200s, nation swapped wood for coal as deforestation occurred topically. 300 years later, societies then depended on petroleum after depleting the supply of whale oil used to fire lamps. In the early 1900s, corn-based ethanol oil supplied the demand for energy.

When the globe started to run on wheels and navigate the skies and seas, the need for fuel increased, eventually drying up local oil wells. As a result, the US turned to importing oil to maintain transportation, industry, and domestic needs moving, eventually relying so heavily on foreign oil that 58% of its supply is now imported.

In addition the depletion of our natural energy resources, across the globe, people are also feeling the effects of the growing cost of electricity and the rising cost of living expenses. On the home front, this poses a dilemma, as family needs are a priority, and electricity definitely qualifies as an essential need.

The shift to alternative sources of energy will take time to put into action across the country but as the energy landscape changes, more homes and industries will be using alternative energy. This will be good for economies dependent on expensive imported oil, like the United States.

Solar energy is a favorite renewable energy alternative for family energy. This option uses photovoltaic technology to convert sunlight into electrical energy. Solar panels alone produce hot water and steam. Combined, these technologies provide optimum energy to power homes. Solar energy has very small levels of carbon dioxide emissions compared to gasoline emissions of the same chemical element that is partly to blame for climate change.

For geothermal energy, the earth’s heat is tapped to supply energy needs. To trap this energy, holes are drilled deep to the level where a possible geothermal heat spot is present. The escaping steam is directed into a turbine linked to a running generator, which converts steam to electricity. This is the preferred format for big industry and utility companies.

The householder, however, need not dig so far to enjoy the benefits of geothermal energy. The geothermal heat pump uses the stable ground temperature a few hundred feet below the ground to supply you with heat and air conditioning. It also supplies warm water.

Wind energy is converted to electricity with the use of wind turbines. Wind power produces a minimum 1.5 per cent of the world’s electricity. Currently, this is a popular alternative energy source in Denmark, Germany, Spain and Portugal.
